Description
What is known as the 'Crown King' trail runs from the north side of Lake Pleasant up to the old city of Crown King, AZ. Crown King is one of the oldest towns in the state of Arizona, and sits between Phoenix, and Prescott. I'm sure anyone that 4-Wheels in AZ has run Crown King. Its a favorite amongst beginners, and for people that like to 'test' mods to their vehicles on a familiar trail. Another perk of running Crown King is the kick ass restaurant at the top of the hill.. 'The Mill' Once again, I'm not sure what this trail is actually rated at.. but since there is a drive-around for all but 2 obstacles.. I cant see it having a rating over a 2 maybe. There are some fun spots including a playground (a bunch of hill-climbs) where a lot of people stop and relax for a mid-day snack to watch the idiots going up these hills. But overall, Crown King is a relaxing way to spend a day.
