Martinez Canyon is located in the Florence Junction area which is just east of Phoenix.
Description
Once the site of Martinez mine and mill, the trails here are really the old roads that have been washed away of all the sandy fill material. While on the trail, you will pass the old mill and mine entrance abandanded long ago by it's owner.
Obstacles include waterfalls, lots-o-rocks and the "Luge" which is a drop into a several hundred foot long rockslide.
